About Arturo

In addition to playing at the Division II level, Arturo brings many years of teaching experience to Woodside Plantation. Most recently, he served as Director of Tennis at Houndslake Country Club, where he started as Head Tennis Professional in 2010, was promoted in two short years to the Director’s role and, within six months, helped increase tennis membership by more than 50 percent. Throughout his career, Arturo has established and trained students in leagues, clinics, tournaments, and social events at both the adult and junior levels. His desire to get both experienced and non-experienced tennis players motivated and excited about the sport is unmatched. Through mixers, quads, men’s and women’s night out, and junior round robins, he is passionate about keeping all levels of athletes involved in the tennis community.
